London Marathon 2019 Live
Tens of thousands of runners are taking to the streets of the capital for the world's most popular race.
The London Marathon will see amateurs race alongside - or more likely slightly behind - the greatest long distance competitors in the world.
Mo Farah is gunning for glory in the men's elite race, but will do well to get past Eluid Kipchoge, the reigning champion and record holder, who has come out in top in three previous editions of the race.
In the women's race, Mary Keitany and Vivian Cheruiyot are among the favourites - both of whom know what it takes to win on London's 26.2 mile circuit.
But the day is not just about the professionals, it is more so about the great charitable causes that will be backed by the 50,000 plus fun-runners.
Follow all the latest action from the race as it happens right here.

The runners of last year will be ruing their luck after temperatures more akin to Ethiopia than Embankment somewhat spoiled the spectacle last year, the sight of body's with literally nothing more to give strewn across the finishing area a reminder of just how tough a marathon can be.
There should be fewer problems this year - highs of about 14 degrees celsius have been forecast, and the temperature is expected to flicker between about nine and twelve for most of the day. Storm Hannah seems to have passed through and any winds will be of a cooling nature: solid conditions for a fast run.
8:41AM
Kiptum caught out
Plenty in racing circles were looking forward to seeing how half-marathon record holder Abraham Kiptum got on over the longer distance, but the Kenyan has fallen foul of the authorities, a suspension levied after an athlete biological passport violation.
That suspension narrows the field considerably, though young Ethiopians Leule Gebrselassie (no relation, as far as I am away) and Tola Shura Kitata - runner-up last year - could, and I stress could, such is Kipchoge 's brilliance, challenge.
8:37AM
Kip Kip Kooray
Eliud Kipchoge is a genuine superstar of the sport, defending champion, course record holder and thrice a winner in London. And in his last competitive outing his smashed the World Record.
It was a simply magnificent run in Berlin in September, one that legitimately threatened the two-hour mark.
And look out - the weather is cool, the wind has died down, and another record run from the Kenyan may not be too far-fetched today. Indeed, such is his dominance that it is hard to see any other winner when the elite men cross the finishing line.
